Our Doctor of Ministry program aims to prepare candidates to propel forward significantly as they pursue advanced learning through the anointing of the Spirit. The courses are designed to empower you to become an effective visionary leader. Expand your reach as you prepare to train and equip leaders who raise up other leaders.
Candidates in this program not only earn the letters of accomplishment for the degree, as they study, they gain clarity, vision and purpose for their ministry. They grow in spiritual authority, increase in the prophetic gifts and develop greater strategic leadership skills. This growth enables graduates to more significantly release the power of the transformative Gospel message into their area of ministry.

The Doctor of Ministry enables those who pursue growth to increase in their ministry effectiveness. Significant advancement in Christlike leadership results from intentional pursuit of the Scriptures. This program helps you to prepare to walk in the next level of your calling through wisdom, faith, Godly reasoning and action. Serve your organization with creative, innovative and revelatory leadership. Make a significant contribution to the body of Christ as you develop and write your research dissertation.

Candidates also experience life-long, powerful connections with some of our global partners. Many are leaders who impact nations for Christ. CMM College of Theology was founded by Dr. Jorge Parrott, President of CM Missions, our global missions organization. Students from various nations study together in this program and many build lifelong friendships. Students may participate on short-term mission trips to experience international ministry (the cost of the trips is not included in the tuition).

This program is 40 credit hours and designed as a two-year program of part-time study for those who minister. We encourage candidates to continue ministering as they study and apply learning as it is appropriate. Candidates may take an additional year to complete the dissertation if necessary. The Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies program is accredited by the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS).

Goals

For the doctoral candidates to present themselves before the Lord that they may better understand and more fully walk in their mantle. To enter greater depths of knowing the Lord and experiencing daily life in Him. To increase effectiveness in the ministry calling and develop higher levels of leadership and other ministry gifts and skills. The candidate is to make a significant contribution to the body of Christ through a dissertation which may lead to a book. This program is designed as two years of core courses and includes a dissertation.

Prerequisites

40 graduate credit hours beyond the bachelor’s degree, with a 2.50

GPA of a 4.00, accomplished by passing these 40 graduate credit
hours. This includes writing and presenting an original thesis paper. Student must have a minimum of 5 years of ministry experience.

Graduation Requirements

Students must earn at least 40 postgraduate credit hours with a 3.00 GPA beyond the Master of Theology Degree or equivalent. This is accomplished by attending classes, passing all assignments, and completion of the dissertation, having met all requirements, and received approval by Faculty Leaders. A scholarly dissertation of 25,000-35,000 words (about 110-150 pages) that reflects original research, design and revelation is to be completed and an oral presentation given. A final interview with CMM College of Theology staff leaders will be conducted.
