
Certificate in Human Trafficking Studies
The certificate provides practical, focused training in identifying, preventing, investigating, and responding to human trafficking. It’s designed for immediate application in the field and can be applied toward the M.A. in Human Trafficking Studies if students wish to continue their education.
Goals
By the end of the program, graduates will be able to:
- Identify human trafficking indicators in multiple contexts.
- Apply trauma-informed and culturally sensitive intervention methods.
- Collaborate effectively with law enforcement, NGOs, and faith-based organizations.
- Design prevention strategies tailored to specific communities.
- Integrate ethical and faith-informed perspectives into professional practice.
The Certificate in Human Trafficking Studies is accredited by QAHE, The Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries, and the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-tertiary and Higher Education,
Prerequisites
To consider your application for admission, the following must be understood and submitted.
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
- All materials must be in English or Spanish.

Graduation Requirements
The Certificate in Human Trafficking Studies requires completion of 5 Core Courses. Each course is 3 credit hours.
