Biography
Debra has served in ministry as a teacher, women’s pastor, ministry leader, mentor, and member of church leadership teams. For four years, she taught in a local Master’s Commission program, mentoring students who had dedicated a year to discipleship, ministry training, and seeking God’s direction for their lives. Her courses included Daniel, the Book of Revelation, and the biblical foundations of God’s design for men and women in Genesis. Trained in prophetic ministry through MorningStar Fellowship, she has a heart for helping believers hear God’s voice, grow in spiritual maturity, and faithfully apply His Word.
In addition to her ministry experience, Debra has extensive leadership experience in the business community and is the author of three Christian books. She is passionate about helping students discover the unity of Scripture by showing how every passage fits within God’s unfolding plan of redemption—from Genesis, through Moses and the Prophets, to Jesus Christ and the Book of Revelation. Students often leave her classes seeing connections in Scripture they had never noticed before, giving them greater confidence in God’s Word and a deeper love for Christ.
Her classes integrate biblical truth with history, theology, missions, leadership, and current world events, helping students understand not only what the Bible teaches, but why it matters for ministry today. She has the privilege of teaching pastors, missionaries, evangelists, chaplains, church planters, published authors, and other Christian leaders serving around the world, as well as those preparing for future ministry. Her desire is to equip every student to faithfully interpret Scripture, lead with wisdom and humility, and serve Christ with confidence.
Debra and her husband, Ray, have been married for 47 years. They have two grown children and five grandchildren. She treasures time with her family and considers it a privilege to encourage others as they grow in their knowledge of God’s Word, deepen their relationship with Christ, and fulfill His calling on their lives.
